  1. Pam, you and I have each survived TBI’s, yours was caused by an auto accident, mine was caused by a blood clot, not as traumatic as yours but still traumatic for me. You have had one episode while I have had 9 strokes, we are both lucky to be alive and have developed new lives to help us cope. Your blog will help people understand what your life is like now, I on the other hand attend stroke support groups to help people understand that life need not end after a stroke, keep up the good fight Pam, and remember you are never alone in your fight!

    1. I did have a transient ischemic attack (mini-stroke) in 2015. I thank my doctor for telling me TBI people are more apt to have a stroke or a brain aneurysm so I know the symptoms of both. I hope I help people understand and not be afraid of TBI’s.
